Rioja, Wine and Medieval Towns

An exciting tour into the Rioja wine region, the oldest in Spain and where traditional family owned wineries with centuries-old cellars and modern facilities have found the way to conviviality. You’ll be surprised at the quality of the different types of wine produced on this historical area, where there’s much more to see than just wineries. I´ve been awarded a Diploma in Rioja Wine for Wine Tourism issued by the D.O.Ca. Rioja Regulatory Council, that recognizes my knowledge of Rioja wine.

In case you prefer not to visit any wineries, we can enjoy an off-the-beaten-path tour of this medieval area, visiting 5,000 year-old dolmens, 10th century burial sites, amazing romanesque and gothic churches and beautiful towns that keep the traditional arquitecture with a real sense of authenticity. And of course, a local Rioja meal based on local products!
